Tom has been a proud ALOA member since 1992, the same year the Fox Valley Chapter of ALOA was founded. Over the years, he has served as North Central Regional Director three times since 1999, advocating for locksmiths and working to strengthen the ALOA community.
In 2024 alone, Tom provided no-cost locksmith services to several area parishes, regardless of denomination, ensuring that places of worship have quality security without financial burden. At the same time, he has been mentoring future locksmiths, training them on-the-job to keep the craft alive for the next generation.

Beyond his dedication to locksmithing, Tom has served on multiple boards of directors in and around Waunakee, WI—his childhood home. Whether securing businesses, homes, or religious establishments, his philosophy remains the same:
